Though this has been a strange year for movies and television, the Golden Globes is still planning to have their annual awards show on Sunday, February 28.

And, because the event will be mostly virtual (meaning we won’t get a red carpet), it only makes sense to honor some of the best looks of all time. While there’s so much to choose from, I decided to pull 10 looks from recent memory that will almost certainly stand the test of time.

From show-stopping gowns to timeless classics, it’s time to find out which gown is your favorite.

10. Jennifer Lopez — 2016

Hello, old Hollywood glamour! Though J.Lo usually loves a sparkly gown moment, she went for a sophisticated look in 2016 with this Giambattista Valli mustard gown. The color looked absolutely stunning on her and the pop of leg made it a touch more daring.

9. Olivia Wilde — 2016

While some people love donning a big ballgown for award shows, Olivia Wilde decided to go with a sleek sequenced Michael Kors gown. Though the gown itself is understated, the plunging neckline and beautiful choker necklace helped her to stand out.

8. Jennifer Lawrence — 2016

Jennifer Lawrence never looks bad on a red carpet (trust me, it’s fact) and she certainly proved my point in 2016 in an exquisite red Dior gown. While it’s a simple cut, the cutouts on the side of the gown kept the look youthful. And, that jaw-dropping necklace really helped the whole look come together.

7. Lady Gaga — 2019

A star was born on the night of the 2019 Golden Globes. A movie star, that is. Lady Gaga is no stranger to the fashion game, and while she’s usually known for making a major statement with her outfits, she proved she can do old Hollywood glamour too. The blue Valentino gown may have overwhelmed another person, but Lady Gaga made it work.

6. Sandra Oh — 2019

White-hot! The Killing Eve star stunned in a white Versace gown at the 2019 Golden Globes, a night in which she won a Golden Globe and hosted. And honestly, she couldn’t have picked a better red carpet dress. I’m obsessed!

5. Blake Lively — 2017

Blake Lively can truly do no wrong when it comes to her red carpet fashion. The black Versace gown had an unbelievable train, but the gold chain mail detailing really brought the look up to a 10.

4. Lupita Nyong’o — 2014

There are no words. Lupita Nyong’o absolutely crushed the 2014 red carpet in a fiery Ralph Lauren gown, complete with a cape. I’m going to go out on a limb and say no one wears color better than Nyong’o.

3. Emma Stone — 2017

Emma Stone looked like a winner in a starry Valentino gown in 2017, and win she did, picking up the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical thanks to her performance in La La Land. There’s no doubt in my mind we’ll look back on this dress in 50 years and admire its beauty.

2. Saoirse Ronan — 2019

My jaw was on the floor when I first saw this gown in 2019 and I don’t believe I’ve been able to pick it up ever since! Forget the plunging neckline, forget the emerald earrings, and forget the beautiful red lip… let’s take in the gorgeous detailing! Saoirse Ronan has a lot of hits on red carpets, but this is the best she’s ever looked.

1. Regina King — 2019

Regina King can do no wrong. The pink Alberta Ferretti fit her like an absolute glove and the beautiful color made her glow. 10/10!
