Apparently, Meghan Markle is ready to get back into acting, and she wants her return to be in a Marvel movie. Could Duchess Meghan be the next Captain Marvel? Is she really ready to trade crowns and pearls for green screens and stunt doubles? Has her standing up to the literal Queen of England prepared her to stand up to the dark overlords of the Marvel universe?
Meghan had a successful run as Rachel Zane in “Suits,” which ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2017. But when Prince Harry proposed and she moved to London, she retired from acting.
No longer would she sit through grueling auditions that, for a woman past 30, are often limited. A future of hocking the best anti aging serums or gut-pleasing yogurts was not for Meghan.
But it seems the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex has changed her mind. Now that she and Prince Harry are no longer senior members of the royal family, they have a bit more time on their hands. And according to the Daily Mail, Meghan wants to use her newfound freedom to get back into the acting game.
According to an inside source, Meghan Markle’s agent “has said she wants her return to acting to be part of an ensemble cast in something like a superhero film.”
The same source said Meghan “knows she can’t carry a film as an actress. People won’t be able to get past the fact she’s Meghan Markle. But she’s determined to act again and she thinks a big, ensemble film is the way to go…something that pays big but which doesn’t put her front and center.”
It seems like with her clout, Meghan shouldn’t have trouble networking her way into a Marvel role. But what are her options?

With their royal duties behind them and Hollywood deals in the works, it looks like Meghan and Harry are serious about living life on their own terms. Baby Archie will grow up in a world that’s a far cry from the one his cousins George, Charlotte and Louis live in. We look forward to seeing Meghan in her first role once all the dust around “Megxit” settles.
