Everyone loves celebrity twins. Tia and Tamera, Mary-Kate and Ashley, Zack and Cody; but what the internet especially loves are celebrity lookalikes. They’re not actually related, but they look weirdly similar: Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood, Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard, Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel.
And now, let’s introduce the newest inductees into the celebrity lookalike Hall of Fame: Caitlyn Jenner–Olympian-turned-transgender-pioneer and parent to the Kardashian/Jenner clan–and Courteney Cox of Friends and Cougar Town fame.
Instagram was set abuzz when comedian David Spade posted a pic posing with Cox and Nick Viall. (You know Nick Viall: the man turned four stints on The Bachelor franchise into a fairly lucrative career as a social media influencer, businessman, and podcaster).
Quickly, followers began to comment that when quickly scrolling by, they totally thought Courteney Cox was Caitlyn Jenner.
Cox then posted a photo on her own Instagram, admitting that she sees the resemblance.
Around here, we do the hard digging to find out the truth celebrities may be trying to conceal.
Let’s explore what we know:
The facts speak for themselves. Only you can decide what you think is true.
Catch David Spade of Saturday Night Live success chatting with Courteney Cox and Nick Viall next year on Lights Out with David Spade, the comedian’s most recent project. Each episode, three guests will typically join Spade to discuss pop culture, news, and jokes.
Courteney and Nick will appear on Season 2 of the show next year.
The one rule the show has: No politics allowed. In this political climate, Spade and his team offer audiences a refreshing break from talk about party lines, impeachment, and campaign funding. It’s a really funny respite into a world where debate can center around issues that unite, rather than divide us: like whether or not Courteney Cox and Caitlyn Jenner just might be twins.
You gotta admit, “Caitlyn & Courteney Take Miami” has a nice ring to it!
