Much like the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Khloé Kardashian likes to switch up her hairstyles.
I mean, why not, right? She’s got the cash and access to some of the best hair stylists available. She’s clearly not afraid to take advantage of that.
This reality star has rocked everything from short and sleek bobs to long and luscious extensions.
Fans often gush over Khloé’s ultra-stylish and ever-changing hairdos, but her newest ‘do featured on Instagram has landed her in hot water.
It looks like the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star stands accused of cultural appropriation again, after posting pics from her vacation.
Earlier this year, Khloé faced harsh critiques after posting a series of photos on Instagram. The pics featured the reality star wearing her hair in cornrows, with long pink pastel extensions.
Social media users were quick to accuse Khloé of blackfishing — a term used to describe someone intentionally portraying themselves as a race other than their own.
Khloé again came under fire in May, when she posted snapshots that made her skin appear notably darker.
Many fans were shocked at how unrecognizable she looked in the photos as compared to real life. The reality star was slammed for what many called fetishizing black skin and culture.
I guess Khloé didn’t learn her lesson — or didn’t care about the criticism — because she’s getting slammed for blackfishing again.
This time, she posted a series of photos from a recent vacation in Turks and Caicos. She’s riding a horse with daughter True on the beach.

Khloé is seen wearing a sheer black dress, but the real issue is her hair.
Many social media users didn’t appreciate her wearing her hair in braids (again!), which have been associated with African culture for thousands of years.
One user pointed out “Girl you fierce but corn rows are culturally appropriating,” while another said, “girl how many times do we have to tell [you not to do braids.”
Not all comments were critical, though. Some came to the star’s defense, saying, “Every single resort offers braiding for patrons who VISIT the country. Why can’t she wear the braids? Why can’t anyone wear the braids?”
Of course, Khloé isn’t the first from the Kardashian-Jenner clan to come under fire for cultural appropriation. Sister Kim Kardashian has seen plenty of criticism for cultural appropriation, though many believe she does it intentionally for attention. Kim was also forced to change the name for her shapewear line, after a blatant cultural appropriation fiasco.
