Miley Cyrus’s Controversial Slam on Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus recently did an Instagram livestream where she insulted her soon-to-be-ex-husband Liam Hemsworth and the LGBTQA+ community.

Cyrus’s Livestream

The Instagram session featured Miley and her current boyfriend, musician Cody Simpson. Miley was in her Los Angeles home and Simpson was in his hotel in Sydney, Australia. These two just can’t get enough of each other–and they want all of us to know it.

The livestream had a few musical performances from the stars (including Miley rapping “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B and saying she’d love to do a collaboration in the future) and a full house tour. She also told viewers that, “Things could not be going better. Honestly, they could not be going better. Happy, happy, happy.”

Cody Simpson joined her on the split-screen to try out heart-frame filters and talk about their matching Teslas. Miley said, “I bought a new computer just to archive our memories. We’re literally the best couple ever, of all time.”

Uh-huh, sure. They’ve been dating for like, twenty minutes and they already have matching tattoos. The rumor is that Miley and Cody have moved in together, too. But that’s not even the most offensive part of Miley’s Instagram overshare.

Miley said, “There are good people out there that just happen to have d–ks. I’ve only met one, and he’s on this live.” She also encouraged her viewers not to give up, saying, “you gotta find a d*ck that’s not a d*ck, you know what I mean?”

“You Don’t Have to Be Gay”

Miley didn’t just offend anyone with common sense. She also upset the LGBTQA+ community by saying, “You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d*cks out there — you’ve just got to find them.”

She explained that “I always thought I had to be gay because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true.” Cyrus came out as pansexual in 2006. Immediately following the breakup of her marriage, she rebounded with Kaitlynn Carter.

The singer is now getting backlash for her comments with fans and critics saying that Cyrus is implying that being gay is a choice or a stopgap for when you’re not in a relationship.

The singer later returned to Instagram to say sowwy if anyone misinterpreted her words. She claims that she’s a supporter of the LGBT community and would never say anything to hurt them.

Sources close to Cyrus say that the divorce case is going smoothly and that they aren’t fighting over money or property because they had a prenup. Sources also say that Miley and Liam don’t talk much these days, so her comments don’t seem to have come from an argument.

She’s just being Miley, I guess.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth seems to have moved on with his new girlfriend, Maddison Brown, who is a fellow Australian. A source close to them said, “Liam is taking it slow, but he’s definitely interested in her.”
