Kim Kardashian West certainly has her hands full. And now, as a mother of four, a business owner, and a future lawyer, she’s saying she’s done having kids.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sat down with divorce attorney Laura Wasser to chat on her iHeart Radio podcast, All’s Fair. And while she admitted that having more kids would be nice, she revealed that she’s good stopping at four.
Kim K and Kanye West are currently parents to their four kids: North, 6 years old; Saint, 4 years old; Chicago, 2 years old; and Psalm, 9 months.
Kim says that she just has her hands full at the moment, and she’s worried about not being able to pay enough attention to all the kids equally if the brood expands. “I want to pay attention. I think everyone needs attention,” she told Laura.
And despite thinking that more kids under her roof might be nice, she admits that her age and desire to become a lawyer are big reasons as to why she just can’t handle any more little ones.
“I just can’t do more because I really want to go to school, and I really want to do all this stuff,” Kim K shares, referencing her studies to become a lawyer. Not only has she been studying law, she also began a four-year apprenticeship with attorneys Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, national director and national policy director for criminal justice advocacy group #cut50.
Kim, who’s currently 39, also doesn’t want to be what she calls “an old mom.”
It sounds like she’s throwing in the towel after having four kids, which doesn’t line up with what Kanye’s been saying lately.
Back in October, Kanye was featured on a special Airpool Karaoke segment on The Late Late Show With James Corden, which was a version of the popular Carpool Karaoke, but–you guessed it–on a plane instead.
That’s when Ye told host James Corden, “[I want] seven kids. The richest thing that you can have is as many children as possible.”
Will they stop at four like Kim wants, or will they wind up with seven kids under one roof? I guess only time will tell which of the two will cave.
