Crikey! There’s a baby on the way for Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell.
The conservationist and TV personality announced that she and her wakeboarder beau are expecting their first child in 2021.
“Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021,” Bindi shared on Instagram Tuesday, August 11. “Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you.”
The photo shows Bindi smiling alongside hubby Chandler as they hold up an adorable tiny Australia Zoo uniform fitted for the new baby on the way.

Of course, dad-to-be Chandler also shared the news on his own Instagram.
“Becoming a dad is the highlight of my life,” Chandler wrote. “I cannot wait to embark on this new adventure and life chapter with my gorgeous wife, @bindisueirwin. Bee, you’re going to be the most amazing mother.”
Bindi and Chandler tied the knot at their beloved Australia Zoo back in March. It was an intimate ceremony with no wedding guests — a stark contrast to the wedding they had been planning.
The couple got engaged on Bindi’s birthday last year in July, after meeting six years prior to that. They met at the Australia Zoo, and got engaged at — you guessed it — the Australia Zoo.
It seems only fitting that they tied the knot at the Australia Zoo, as well.
Original wedding plans were scrapped by the couple last minute amid the coronavirus pandemic, and they squeezed their ceremony in just hours before Australia’s crackdown on gatherings.
They also made the “difficult decision” to not have any wedding guests.
“We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding,” Bindi wrote on Instagram. “This was a very difficult decision but important to keep everyone safe.”
During the ceremony, Bindi also made sure to honor her late father, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin. The family lit a candle in his honor.
