Kanye West’s recent behavior and presidential bid are proving to be a “nightmare” for wife Kim Kardashian, according to at least one source.
And with the couple now basically living separate lives, are we about to see a divorce?
It’s true that Kanye and Kim K are essentially living separate lives at this point, with very little face-to-face interactions these days. Kanye’s been living out on the ranch in Cody, Wyoming. Kim is in Los Angeles with the couple’s four kids: North, 7; Saint, 4; Chicago, 2; and Psalm, 14 months.
We do know that Kim K flew out to the family ranch in Wyoming early last week to see Kanye. And according to some sources, it was in an effort to save her marriage.
After all, inside sources say that prior to the meetup, Kim was ready to call it quits. Kanye has been essentially ignoring and avoiding all contact with Kim as she desperately tries to get him professional help.
The trip came on the heels of Kanye’s public apology to his wife. It seemed like the least he could do, after tweeting about wanting a divorce, publicly airing dirty laundry about abortion, and calling Kim’s mom “Kris Jong-Un.”
Of course, photos surfaced of the couple during their reunion, in which they looked a little less than thrilled to see each other. One photo in particular shows Kim visibly upset — she’s crying as the pair talk it out.
Page Six spoke to a “well-placed source” that said Kim was actually there to beg Kanye to end his presidential bid for the sake of their family. As we all know, that didn’t do the trick.
Instead, Kanye upped his operation: “He ignored her and instead he went ahead and hired more people… and tried to register in more states.”
As much as Kim wants to help, sources say, “Kim is very torn.”
While Kim K and the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan has remained concerned for Kanye’s mental health, Kim also has to think about whether or not the situation is going to work out for her and the kids.
“The last thing she wants is to be divorced with four kids. She knows that she will be fine financially, but her concerns are the kids and the partnership,” the source told PEOPLE. “She is moving towards a divorce, but who knows if she will actually sign papers.”
