Bust out the dry skin body wash – another celebrity wants to pose nude. This time, it’s actress Suzanne Somers. In a new interview with Access, the 73-year-old “Three’s Company” star revealed she would love to get naked to celebrate her 75th birthday in two years.

Suzanne Posed Nude for Playboy in the 70s

“I dropped my top – I was all covered,” Somers said of her original photoshoot with the nude magazine. “I didn’t think it was a controversial picture. But it became controversial. And then I thought, ‘Well, that’s not bad.’ Because I looked like I was naked, but I wasn’t,” said Somers, according to Movie Web.

Suzanne now thinks it would be fun to do a nude Playboy shoot for her 75th birthday.

“I thought, ‘Well, this is a new way to age. What I want women and men – but mostly women because we’re so hard on ourselves – to know [is] it ain’t over. It’s how you take care of yourself going forward. We are going to live longer now. There is life extension whether you like it or not. But no one’s really thinking about quality… I’ve been putting quality back.”

‘I like aging’

Suzanne told Access that she still has youthful energy. No wonder she wants to pose for Playboy!

“The difference between youth and age is energy,” she said. “When I say I like aging, I like my energy.”

“I thought that when I was 73 I would be old,” Somers continued. “I’m chronologically old, but I’m not old. I’m enjoying aging because I have acquired wisdom, because I’m not pilled up…I love the way I look.”

Will Playboy Still Be Around?

Unfortunately for Somers, it’s highly unlikely Playboy magazine will still exist in two years when she turns 75. According to Intelligencer,

Playboy has announced that it’s closing down its flagship magazine for the rest of 2020. It seems unlikely, given the wording of the announcement and the state of print magazine-making, that it will ever return.”

Playboy’s announcement states, “We have decided that our Spring 2020 Issue, which arrives on U.S. newsstands and as a digital download this week, will be our final printed publication for the year in the U.S. We will move to a digital-first publishing schedule for all of our content.”

The Playboy empire is smart to know that print media is going out of style. Not to mention, the adult content Playboy is famous for is available on the internet for free. It looks like if Suzanne Somers wants to pose nude, she’ll have to find another platform!
