Now that we’re a good five months into 2020, we can sit back and laugh at some of the silly mishaps that happened between celebrities last year. Seriously, what were they thinking? Thankfully, it’s all in the past now… or is it?
It is common knowledge now that Justin was only joking, because of course he was… about challenging Tom Cruise to a fight. Justin Bieber took to Twitter, saying, “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom, if you don’t take this fight you’re scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight?”
Zendaya of Greatest Showman fame was featured in an Instagram photo posted by Tom Holland, which is a nice thing for him to do for his Spider-Man: Far From Home co-star, except for one little detail. He tagged her name on his crotch.
Thankfully Zendaya just laughed it off, commenting, “I’m assuming because you don’t know how to work IG, that’s the reasoning behind my name placement.”
I mean, this wasn’t totally an awkward request or anything. When Jason Momoa and his wife appeared on the red carpet, model Ashley Graham asked if he would do a haka move for her. Momoa’s wife Lisa Bonet tried to stop it, but Ashley persisted. She even attempted to do her own version of the move. Bonet did not look amused.
In celebration of her friend’s birthday, Kylie Jenner thought it’d be a fab idea to have everyone dress up as handmaids from the Handmaid’s Tale series. This included many fun beverage options, such as “Under His Eyes tequila” and “Praise Be vodka.” It isn’t unsurprising that her chosen theme caused quite a bit of internet backlash.
When Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married last year, Diplo decided it was something worthy of live-streaming, because he didn’t believe it was “serious.” When asked about it, he said, “I didn’t know it was a serious wedding! I really didn’t know what was going on. I was hanging out with him after the Billboard Awards, I was just hanging out with him, like, ‘This is crazy, dude. Let me record this.”
