Cardi B and Fashion Nova are teaming up to help families who are struggling thanks to COVID-19.

They have stepped up with a stimulus package of their own — putting money directly into the hands of those who have been negatively impacted by the current pandemic.

Cardi B and Fashion Nova Giving Away $1K Per Hour

Cardi and the fashion line she reps will be giving away a cool $1,000 every hour to families struggling. Yes, seriously. They will be shelling out $1,000 checks each hour for the next 42 days, until they reach $1 million total.

“I teamed up with [Fashion Nova] to help those that have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic,” Cardi captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Many of you are struggling to pay bills, feed your families, and take care of your overall essential needs,” she continued. “#FashionNovaCARES & I are giving away $1,000 EVERY HOUR until we’ve given away $1 MILLION DOLLARS to those directly affected by this crisis.”

The Fashion Nova Cares initiative wants to drop cash directly into the hands of people desperately needing relief. The checks will start going out today through May 20.

In her video, the “Be Careful” singer explained that she wants to make sure that the money goes directly to those in need.

“You know sometimes you give to charity and you wonder, ‘Is it really going to the people?’ Well we’re gonna make sure it goes to the people,” Cardi said.

Fashion Nova and Cardi B Want to Help Those Struggling to Make Ends Meet

As we’ve seen across the nation, many people are struggling amid the pandemic.

As businesses are having to close, and employees are following stay-at-home orders, families are in need of relief. There are massive lines just to file for unemployment benefits or to get food. Folks are having to decide between paying rent or covering their Humira medicare cost. No one should have to choose between necessary medication and shelter.

Luckily, Fashion Nova and Cardi B have taken notice.

“People are struggling to pay rent, buy food, medicine and other essentials for themselves and their families,” said Richard Saghian, founder and CEO of Fashion Nova. “We all feel compassion and concern for those affected by the Coronavirus.”

Don’t think you’re going to con Cardi B into sending you $1,000 if you don’t really need it, though. The Grammy winner says she’s personally vetting those who apply on Fashion Nova’s website.

“Make sure your Instagram is open because I’m going to make sure that you really do need it,” Cardi told her fans. She then joked, “Don’t be lying so you can lend your boyfriend some f***ing money. No, you don’t gotta show us your p****, but if you wanna DM it to me I don’t motherf****ing mind.” Ha!

To qualify for the cash, visit to share your story and info. They will be choosing 24 people each day for the duration of the relief program.
