Jennifer Lawrence Stops Home Invasion

Jennifer Lawrence had an unexpected visitor at her Beverly Hills home on Sunday night. A 23-year-old woman apparently walked right through the home’s doors, TMZ reports.

Intruder Enters Jennifer Lawrence’s Home

The Hunger Games star lives with her husband, Cooke Maroney, in their Beverly Hills mansion. It’s not clear if Maroney was home at the time of the incident.

Word on the street is J-Law was all set to leave a couple scathing ADT security alarm reviews, but turns out she totally left her doors unlocked. Not the smartest move when you’re an international celebrity.

TMZ reports that a security guard restrained the woman before she got to Jennifer. Apparently, she just wanted to meet the star in person. The security guard and Lawrence called the cops and waited with the intruder until they arrived.

I guess that’s one way to score some quality time with your favorite celebrity?

Police arrested the woman for misdemeanor trespass.

Where Has J-Law Been?

Jennifer Lawrence hasn’t been in many movies lately, but her personal life has been great – aside from the whole home invasion thing, of course. The 29-year-old actress married Cooke Maroney, 34, in October of 2019. She fell in love with Maroney shortly after she decided to take a little break from acting.

Maroney is the director of New York City’s Gladstone art gallery. Many high-profile clients hire him for his work as an art gallerist, according to Elle. “He’s previously worked with painter Carroll Dunham and Björk’s ex-boyfriend, sculptor Matthew Barney. Before he worked at Gladstone, he worked at Gagosian gallery after he completed his NYU art history degree.”

Jennifer talked about falling in love with Cooke in an interview with Catt Sadler’s podcast, “Naked With Catt Sadler.” She said,

“I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married.’ I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer.”

She said that Maroney pushes her out of her comfort zone.

“I have been doing things that I didn’t actually think that I could […] I’d get nervous before going to restaurants, or I felt like I couldn’t go to dive bars. There were just certain things, like, ‘Oh, I can’t do that.’ And then the past year, I’ve just been doing all of that. And I feel like my life is more well-rounded because I took time off.”
