Shots fired! Blac Chyna took aim at momager Kris Jenner as her legal battles with ex Rob Kardashian continue to drag on.
Back in late 2017, Chyna slapped the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan with a lawsuit, in which she claimed Kris Jenner and the rest of the family were responsible for having Rob & Chyna cancelled after one season–the reality show on E! that she shared with now-ex Rob Kardashian.
She also alleged instances of assault, battery, domestic violence, and of course, defamation.
Basically, Chyna insists that she lost millions in potential income. This is thanks to Kris Jenner and the rest of Rob’s family not liking her.
Of course, Kris and the rest of the Kardashian clan fiercely denied any responsibility for the series’ ultimate demise. They claim that the show was only cancelled after Chyna and Rob broke up. In response to Chyna’s allegations, the Kardashians’ legal team sought to subpoena Chyna’s text messages, emails, and bank statements.
But now, Kris has motioned for the court to seal all of the case’s records. Chyna isn’t here for it.
Chyna’s attorney explained that she “has filed an opposition” to the Kardashians’ motion to seal court records “regarding Chyna’s defamation and tortious interference with contract case against them.
“These defendants want to hide their illegal conduct from the public which resulted in the cancellation of Season 2 of Chyna’s hit reality TV show, instead of allowing the evidence of their wrongdoing to see the light of day,” the statement released from Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, reads.
However, in a particularly good burn, that statement also compares Kris to “Bachelor Mom Barb.” It’s not often that your lawyer’s advice involves a meme from one of the hottest reality dating shows in the world.
“Unlike ‘Bachelor Mom Barb,’ who expressed her contempt for her potential future daughter-in-law out in the open last night, Kris and her daughters successfully hid their contempt for Chyna, their future daughter-in-law and sister-in-law, from the public,” the statement read.
She is of course referencing the dramatic second part of Tuesday night’s Bachelor finale. In it, bachelor Peter has a tense conversation with his mom, Barb, and his final choice, Madison. If you haven’t seen it, let me just say that Barb doesn’t approve.
A hearing regarding Kris Jenner’s motion to seal court documents is currently set for March 18.
