Jennifer Lopez’s Daughter Shines During Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show

Like mother, like daughter!

Sure, all eyes were on superstars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez during the highly anticipated Super Bowl LIV halftime performance, but there was one extra special guest who pretty much stole the show: J Lo’s 11-year-old daughter, Emme Maribel Muñiz.

Emme Joins Mom Jennifer Lopez on Stage for Halftime Show

After J Lo reminded us that she’s still just “Jenny From the Block” and went into “Get Right,” she was joined by daughter Emme along with a chorus of kids to sing her mega-hit “Let’s Get Loud.” The song was originally written by Gloria Estefan, and was passed to Lopez in 1999 for her debut studio album that sold 8 million copies worldwide.

But enough about J Lo, we’re here for the real shining star, 11-year-old Emme!

After “Let’s Get Loud,” Emme and mom J Lo went on to mix in part of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic “Born in the USA,” as Lopez was draped in a Puerto Rican flag made of feathers.

Emme, who also has a twin brother named Maximilian David Muñiz, is Lopez’s daughter with ex-husband and singer Marc Anthony. So, it’s pretty easy to see where the young songstress gets her talents.

Reactions to Emme’s Performance

People were quick to take notice of Emme’s talents.

Even celebs took notice, like Kim Kardashian tweeting about how the 11-year-old prodigy is “amazing” for singing “on such a huge stage like the Super Bowl.”

And dad Marc Anthony made sure to tell his daughter just how proud he is.

And while 50-year-old Lopez shared her hits with her daughter for her national debut, it seems like Emme has already been following in her mother’s footsteps even before her big Super Bowl performance.

Last year, Lopez uploaded a video of her daughter showing off her voice while singing Alicia Keys’ soulful “If I Ain’t Got You.” The video of her impromptu rendition on YouTube quickly went viral.
