Is Kourtney saying goodbye to Keeping Up With the Kardashians?
It sounds like KUWTK is definitely not a top priority for Kourtney anymore, as the reality star admitted, “I don’t want to film anymore.”
This certainly leaves Kourtney’s future with KUWTK up in the air after the season finale, which left audiences wondering if she will return to the reality show with her family next season.
The season finale picked up after a huge feud between Kourtney and her two younger siblings, Kim and Khloe. That fight, which stemmed from Kourtney’s desire to keep much of her life away from cameras, blew to epic proportions.
Thanks to Kourtney’s boundaries hindering the filming schedule and leaving her sisters feeling like they were picking up her filming slack, Kim and Khloe threatened their sister with being fired from KUWTK. Of course, Kourtney said she was “down” for it, and seemed pretty indifferent to the threat.
“My well-being is more important than the show,” Kourtney said during the show, “I’m not giving in and I’m not going to change my boundaries.”
In order to fix the drama-filled feud, momager Kris arranged a family getaway in Wyoming to “press a reset button.” Unfortunately, the bonding activities that were planned didn’t bring the women together quite like Kris intended, with Khloe even calling Kourtney a “bully” and a “b*tch” at one point.
During dinner, Kourtney reminded her family that everyone needs to “be respectful of each other’s boundaries.” But Kim fired back, stating that if everyone acted like her “filming-wise,” that there would be no show.
In a confessional, Kourtney revealed that she’s reached a breaking point, saying, “It’s not okay that I feel like I’m at my breaking point and I need a break and I don’t want to film anymore.”
While Kourtney never gave any definitive answer over her future on the reality show with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, the sisters at least seemed to understand one another.
“I hear Kourtney loud and clear. And I obviously want her to be really happy,” Kim said about her sister, adding, “I hope that Kourtney finds clarity. And whatever decision she chooses to make, I just want her to feel like she’s at peace.”
