It’s certainly not unusual to see sports-loving celebrities at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, home to a few of LA’s sports teams: the Kings, the Lakers, the Clippers, and the Sparks. However, there was one celebrity spotting this past weekend that was quite a surprise.

Lizzo must have been “feeling good as hell” sitting courtside at the Lakers game Sunday night, because the artist was spotted twerking in a thong!

Lizzo Spotted Courtside at Timberwolves-Lakers Game

The “Truth Hurts” singer attended Sunday night’s Lakers game against her former home team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. She wore a black t-shirt dress featuring Notorious B.I.G. Sitting with a couple of friends, Lizzo enjoyed the game much like any other fan, with french fries and a beer.

However, it wasn’t until the Laker Girls started performing to Lizzo’s famous track “Juice” that things heated up.

Lizzo, who has been nominated for eight Grammys this year, started by rapping along to her hit. She was featured on the jumbotron as she stood up to playfully dance along. But when she turned around to twerk, the screen quickly cut back to the Laker Girls once it became clear what Lizzo was wearing.

When Lizzo turned around, she revealed that the back of her dress was strategically cut out to show off her entire backside! The popstar was flaunting what she’s got in a black thong and fishnets to match.

Though the cameraman tried to cut away, footage of the iconic moment was shared on Twitter, of course, which you can peep below:

Lizzo’s bootylicious t-shirt dress is reminiscent of another Minnesota native: Prince. The late superstar, who was also Lizzo’s former mentor, wore some assless pants to the 1991 Video Music Awards that will live in infamy.

Lizzo Eyes Minnesota Timberwolves Player

Later that evening, Lizzo was interviewed by Fox Sports, in which she revealed she’s got the hots for a certain Minnesota Timberwolves player.

I’m pretty sure that when interviewer Marney Gellner asked who she was cheering for, she was looking for a team. But Lizzo had one particular player in mind, replying, “I’m personally cheering for number 32.” That’s Karl-Anthony Towns.

Lizzo admits she’s never met the guy, but she remixed her hit “Truth Hurts” by singing, “New man on the Minnesota Timberwolves!”
