You’d think that Drake would have no problem finding the woman of his dreams. He’s handsome, extremely wealthy, and seems like a sensitive guy. So what’s the problem?
It seems like Drake’s dream woman is someone else’s girlfriend.
Most recently, we saw his pattern of behavior when he was rumored to be dating Kylie Jenner after her maybe-breakup with baby-daddy Travis Scott. As recently as this weekend, Elle reported that Kylie and Drake were hanging out in a flirtatious–but not necessarily romantic–way while the makeup mogul was still figuring things out with Travis.
“She has been hanging out with Drake. Mostly together with other friends as well,” a source told the magazine. “She has known Drake for a while. They are not in a relationship. It mostly seems like they have chemistry, flirt and hang out. Nothing too complicated.”
What is complicated, however, is Drake’s history with romancing the recent exes of his friends.
Way back in 2010 or so, Common and Serena Williams had just ended their 3-year, on-off relationship. Who was calling up the tennis star to take her out to dinner right after the news broke? You can probably guess!
The same thing happened after Kanye and Amber Rose called it quits. There’s also a rumor that he tried to romance Bella Hadid while she and The Weeknd were on a break.
In what is either next-level homewreckery (it’s totally a word!) or epic irony, Drake basically announced his intentions on the song “I Can Steal Your Girl” by Lil’ Wayne feat. Drake and Kid-Kid. Drake did, in fact, steal Lil’ Wayne’s girl while the other rapper was in jail.
Drake admitted that Rihanna was the one who got away. He told The New York Times that she played him the way he had played so many other women:
“You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.'”
If he can’t have Rihanna, then it seems his buddy’s girlfriend will do. With his history of beefing with other rappers and hip-hop stars over women and accusations of plagiarism, let’s hope he has a good personal injury attorney on call.
