Everyone knows that Kanye West is being much more outspoken about his Christian religious faith these days. He’s been hosting his “Sunday Service” events for a while, and he is hard-core hyping his new album, Jesus Is King.
But has he gone too far with his recent comments about Kim and North?
In recent news, Kanye has changed his views when it comes to his daughter, North, in regard to wearing makeup and crop tops, in part based on his new beliefs as a Christian.
He told Zane Lowe with Beats1, “I don’t think North should wear crop tops just because I had her wearing a slip dress when she was two years old,” Kanye said. “I think and feel differently now, now that I’m Christian, now that I’m founder of a three billion dollar organization and married for five years.”
You has to wonder if Kanye’s newly found religious faith is causing turmoil in the West household. Kim Kardashian revealed that his newest rule pertaining to North and makeup has caused some big arguments.
In an interview with E!News while promoting her KKW makeup line, Kim admitted that issues have bubbled up now that North is getting older.
“North is trying to get in on the makeup but she’s being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she is a teenager,” Kim said. She went on to say that the topic was “a big fight in the household right now.”
However, it seems like Kim might have caved. She said, “It is what’s best…I think as a parent you just learn and figure it out as you go and we realized we didn’t really want her to wear makeup at a young age.”
Did they really end up resolving this one in agreement and if so, will Kim also be changing her fashion choices? The multitude of new rules would cause challenges for any relationship, and Kanye seems to be a man of strong opinions.
We’ve learned that Kanye may be attending a Sunday Service at the Lakewood megachurch after being invited by Joel Osteen himself.
The offer is apparently on the table, but it’s not clear whether he would perform at the megachurch, too. According to TMZ sources, Joel invited him to the service but did not ask him to perform. However, those sources also said Joel would be thrilled if Kanye wanted to.
