Jennifer Lawrence Will Reportedly Tie the Knot This Weekend With Swanky Soiree

While some celebrities like to make a spectacle of their weddings, a lot of famous folks like to keep the details of their nuptials under wraps in order to keep the paparazzi away.

For Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, at least some of the details surrounding her impending wedding are still a secret. Luckily for the rest of us, though, someone leaked a few choice tidbits.

They Hired a Super-Star Planner For Fancy Affair

The 29-year-old actress and her soon-to-be-husband Cooke Maroney, 34, have been busy planning an upscale wedding. They even hired celeb wedding and party planner Mark Seed to put the swanky soirée together.

Reports from several sources say that the couple are set to get married in Newport, Rhode Island. And according to one local news source, JLaw and Maroney will be tying the knot at Belcourt Castle, the palatial home of Alex and Ani CEO Carolyn Rafaelian.

The guest list includes about 150 people. I didn’t get my invite, so I’m going to assume it just got lost in the mail. Right?

Details about JLaw’s wedding dress have managed to stay secret, so there’s no way to know until photos surface after this weekend’s big event. However, it’s pretty likely that it will be a Dior gown since she’s rocked Dior at multiple awards shows in the past.

Most importantly, though, is the wedding reception and what the bride and groom have chosen for the menu!

Extravagant Menu For Wedding Attendees

For hors d’oeuvres, wedding attendees have their pick of brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk, smoked pork belly with pickled apple, sweet potato flat cakes, or salt cod beignet. The fact that their wedding menu includes hors d’oeuvres already makes it fancier than my wedding!

The main entrees include herbs and lemon butter over wood-roasted fish, aged leg of beef, roasted heirloom carrots, smoked new potatoes, and braised cabbage. Are you getting hungry yet?

The couple also didn’t forget about dessert, which is clearly the most important part. We’re talking fire-baked sourdough bread pudding, salted caramel with fresh apple, fritters with bourbon cream and cinnamon sugar, or house-made s’mores.

Reportedly, they will also have some pretty swanky cocktails, like a bourbon old-fashioned or a gin cucumber lavender champagne. Certainly no basic bottled water at this reception.

Someone call JLaw and tell her I’ll have the s’mores!
