A “Spectacular Evening”

Groban announced the residency on Good Morning America. He said that it’s not going to be a regular concert and will instead be a “spectacular evening of so many things.”

The singer says that when Radio City approached him about doing a residency there, his manager suggested doing something unique. It reflects how Groban’s 18-year career has been versatile and a little bit of everything.

“I have been given an extraordinary opportunity to do a series of shows at Radio City Music Hall that’s unlike anything else I’ve ever done in my life,” Groban said. “There will be interviews, there will be guests, there will be music… there will be unexpected moments with the audience.”

According to the singer, no two shows will be the same, partly because of the guest stars he plans to bring for the shows and because the shows will have an impromptu spirit. Groban also said that the show will be focused on celebrating New York. There will be an orchestra, band, and choir.

Get Your Tickets

Groban is thrilled for the upcoming shows. He said, “For 15 years, Radio City Music Hall has been a venue of dreams for me. It’s the first venue I ever performed a full concert in NYC, and a place that has allowed me to push myself and have the most fun of my career. Now, I’m excited and honored to call it home for as long as they’ll give it to me to do a show.”

Fans who are as excited as Groban can purchase their tickets soon. The presale for the shows between February 14 and April 18 will start on October 11th. More performances will be announced later. One dollar from every sold ticket goes to Groban’s Find Your Light Foundation, which helps children get an education in arts.

Fans have a lot to look forward to. Groban says, “I want each night to have heart, humor, and to embrace the unexpected that can only happen once you’re in the seats. See you there!”
