Former Backstreet Boys Member Nick Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt are now officially the parents of a healthy baby girl. They welcomed the newest member of their family amidst the ongoing drama with Carter’s estranged brother, Aaron.
It doesn’t look like Lauren will be needing those prenatal vitamins anymore! The couple welcomed the new baby late Wednesday evening, October 2nd. A rep for the couple confirmed that both mom and daughter are doing great. This is the couple’s second child; they are also parents to 3-year-old Odin Carter.
It was only a day before her delivery that fitness guru Lauren posted a new series of maternity photos, saying, “We’ve been soaking up as much time as possible with our first born.” She also added, “So thankful to have these photos of the three of us before we become four.”
Nick had announced that his wife was pregnant back in May, when he posted a family photo on Instagram. In the photo, Nick is cradling his wife’s baby bump while son Odin is giving his mom’s belly a sweet kiss.
The couple’s second baby is a happy addition that comes eight months after they shared news that Lauren had suffered a miscarriage. At the time, Nick revealed that he was too heartbroken to perform a schedule show. This was the couple’s second tragic loss, as Lauren also suffered a miscarriage before Odin was conceived.
Nick’s troubled brother, Aaron Carter, publicly swore off ever speaking with his family again, so it’s probably safe to assume that he hasn’t congratulated his brother.
According to a restraining order that Nick filed against his little brother, Aaron made threats to kill Lauren while she was pregnant. In the court document, Nick says that he feared for the safety of himself, his wife, and his children. Only days after Nick filed a restraining order, sister Angel also filed one against Aaron.
Aaron is now legally prohibited from coming within 100 feet of either Angel or Nick and his family. Aaron was also forced to surrender at least 2 of his guns to police, although he claims to have plenty more at home.
