At 9:05 AM PST on May 10, Kim Kardashian tweeted, “He’s here and he’s perfect!” of her fourth child, a son, with Kanye West.
Some sources say the pair was at the hospital on Thursday night with their surrogate, who was in labor, and they were unable to attend a taping of Ellen earlier this week because of the baby’s delivery.
Kim’s sister Kourtney did make it to Ellen’s show on Thursday, however. During a taping with her mother Kris Jenner, she revealed the exciting news.
“My mom doesn’t even know this,” she began, “but Kim’s surrogate went into labor.”
Shocked, Jenner immediately responded “let’s go,” suggesting that they should all – even Ellen – rush to the hospital.
“What are we doing sitting here?!” she questioned Kourtney and Ellen both.
Soon after Kim’s initial tweet, she followed up with an additional post in which she shared a tidbit about the baby’s appearance.
“He’s also Chicago’s twin,” she said, indicating that she was laughing out loud. “I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her.”
The happy couple has not yet revealed the baby’s name, but we’re sure it’ll be something unique, considering the names of their other kids.
After complications with prior pregnancies, Kim and Kanye turned to a surrogate for the birth of their third child, Chicago. A new surrogate was selected to bring the fourth West baby into the world, as their previous surrogate was recovering from the birth of her own child.
Kim was present on the labor and delivery floor during Chicago’s birth, so it’s assumed that she also attended the birth of her fourth baby, the new sibling to North, Saint, and Chicago.
While the 38-year-old reality TV star has been keeping busy studying to be a lawyer, we think she and Kanye will also stay busy with the newest addition to the family.
A week after arriving home with the baby, Kim finally revealed her new son’s name.
In a Twitter post, featuring a picture of the newborn, the world finally discovered Kimye’s fourth child’s name. And it is… drum roll please…
On Monday, June 10, she also posted an adorable snapshot to her Instagram page with the caption “Psalm Ye.”
Could his father’s nickname be his middle name, too?
